I'm opening earlier than expected for pre-orders:
1) because I can't get to work on my paper if I don't get this out of the way
2) I'm opening this for a slightly longer time because I'm paranoid I won't get the minimum number of orders.

I'll be upfront and say this first and foremost. Admittedly, I don't have sufficient funds to carry off this printing project, and that's why I'm opening pre-orders. The deadline for pre-order is 10th January 2010 But if I don't reach a minimum target of orders by 25th December 2009, I'll refund the money because I won't be able to print the minimum number of books. All the funds received will go into printing more books for Fanime 2010.

Just thought I'd copy paste this from my personal journal. I'm in horrible horrible need of money right now. I always am, but this time, I really need to pay off someone so that she won't starve TAT As a fellow starving student, I don't want to worsen fellow students' conditions.

I'm offering a one-time only commission slot done in this style

The situation is that, I desperately need to make a certain amount of money asap to pay off some things, and since no one's interested in my usual commission types, I'm trying this. This takes me a much longer time to do than my usual, so they're more expensive.

Prices are as follows, no negotiation, straight and clear cut:

1 character + simple background (the one in the sample is considered simple) - $60
2 characters + simple background - $80
1-2 characters + complicated background - $150

** A complicated background would generally be something like this, except done in the lineless painterly style.

** I will only take one commission slot.

There are also my normal commission rates too. I'd really appreciate it if you could spread the word around >__<b
